What happens when I hit 5 testimonials on the free plan?
New submissions will still come in and sit in your queue — you just won't be able to approve more than 5 until you upgrade. Nothing gets lost.
Can my clients leave a testimonial without signing up?
Yes, always. Your client gets a link, fills in a form, submits. No account, no email verification, no friction on their end.
What does "no Writ branding" actually mean?
On the free plan, the widget has a small "Powered by Writ" line at the bottom. On Pro and above, that's gone — the widget looks like it's just part of your site.
